Michael is the President and CEO of Superna. Over the last three years, he has transformed the business to focus on addressing challenges faced by enterprise and telecommunications organizations in the ownership and maintenance of their networks through the application of web based software tools. He leads a diverse team with in-depth technical expertise in wide area networking, storage area networking, the application of geospatial technology and network security and modeling. Prior to joining Superna, Michael held a range of senior management positions at Nortel, MCI Systemhouse, Geomatics International and TYDAC Technologies. He has been involved in the development of mapping and GIS since the early 1980's and was part of the original development teams responsible for the market expansion of the TYDAC Spatial Analysis System (SPANS) and the VISION* automated mapping and facility management system. He has always had a strong interest in exploring how geospatial technologies can be applied into the telecommunications, utility and business markets. |
Andrew MacKay

Andrew is the Chief Technology Officer for Superna and leads Superna Security and Storage Networking activities. He is an innovator in all aspects of Enterprise and Telecom technologies. He is focused on developing Superna's technology roadmap for storage interoperability, the development of network planning and management tools. Andrew also sets our direction for network security applications. His expertise spans the intersection of secure network management, virtualization, cloud computing and BC/DR for both Enterprise and Telecom networks. Prior to joining Superna, Andrew was a senior technologist with Nortel where he pioneered the development of optical storage area networking applications with EMC for Fortune 500 and carrier customers and developed a next generation of network based encryption products. He started his career as a IT network specialist with the RCMP setting up secure networks for CSIS, the FBI and Interpol. |
