Strategic partnerships enhance Superna's solutions portfolio
Superna works with a number of leading information communication technology (ICT) innovators to broaden and enhance our solutions portfolio. Superna supports vendor-specific platforms. We partner with leading Tier 1 equipment vendors in the areas of optical, IP, data, wireless communications as well as design services. Our customers include Tier 1 and 2 network equipment manufacturers. We have OEM solutions with many of the leading optical and wireless providers. Working with the equipment manufacturers, Superna has also undertaken work directly with telecom providers.
Superna has a broad partnership with EMC that covers integration testing and qualification and the development of SupernaNET portlets that can be used with EMC products and solutions. Working with EMC eLab, we have built an optical storage networking lab that is used to provide eLab Entrance Criteria validation and verification optical networking solutions with EMC products. Many organizations are facing a challenge to transparently integrate their optical network devices with their standard enterprise EMS (e.g. EMC Ionix), which are used to monitor enterprise-wide IT events from application to server to storage to the network. SupernaNET includes a complete integration of optical network and optical storage areas network events and alarms for EMC Ionix. For more information, visit the EMC Solutions Gallery

Superna has developed a working partnership with Brocade to undertake Data Center Ready self certification for optical network storage areas networking. This activity closely parallels the work that we do with EMC eLab. We have built capacity in our lab to undertake Fiber Channel testing on Brocade switching fabrics. We plan to exapnd the test environment to include FCoE and FCIP testing capacity in the future.

Superna is an Autodesk development partner, and we use Autodesk's MapGuide technology as a component in SupernaNET. MapGuide provides an open system framework, with multiple mapping and spatial analysis functions that complement SupernaNET core mediation and analytics functions. At Superna, we believe that Event Correlation and Analysis can be significantly enhanced by the use of spatial analysis techniques and we will continue to expand these capabilities as part of the SupernaNET application suite.
